Turquoise Vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This modest-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 32 feet (9.8 meters)0.

It takes 2 years for the turquoise stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 2 inches (5 cm) and are smooth and woody.

The asymmetrical, sticky leaves reach up to 8 inches (20 cm) in length. They are pink and brown, and have tattered edges.


It is suitable for making paper
It can flourish even in standing water.
The leaves are high in natural sugars.
