Caramel

This large leaf succulent grows up to 99 feet (30.2 meters) tall. The thin stem is pink-red, and is covered in dozens of rigid lilac spines. The thick leaves are either blood red or vibrant green, with azure zig-zags. Large amounts of them grow on thick, gnarled, caramel branches that are very long and thick. The leaves are durable, but easily come away when pulled.

It is steady-growing, taking 14 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with cream petals and a subtle blue central disk grows at the top, reappearing once every 10 years. The flower head is shaped like a cube made up of dozens of tightly layered, round-tipped petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like pine needles.

The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the pale yellow flesh is sticky, and the purple sap is thin.
