Bloodvine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This average-sized bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 39 feet (11.9 meters) and growing as high as 133 feet (40.5 meters).

It takes 2 years for the moss green stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 2 inches (5 cm) and are rough and prickly.

The cylindrical, crispy leaves reach up to 7 inches (18 cm) in length. They are crimson at the bottom and blood red with caramel splotches at the top, and have smooth edges.

It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
