Azurebell

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 65 years. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has several sturdy, straight stems covered in very thick, ridged, silver and white bark, and the wood inside is yellow-brown.

The branches trail down to the ground with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of tiny, asymmetrical, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are either orange or azure, with pink streaks, flimsy and waxy.

It produces hundreds of tiny, white flowers with 2 pointed petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They are very delicate and have a fairly strong scent that smells like fruity. In late spring it forms largedeep red, shelled seeds.
