Burgundy Moss

This burgundy moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In rainforests, In moorlands, and On rotten logs.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is overwhelmingly flexible.
When mature, emerald oval-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release dozens of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
