Turquoise Vine
Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This enormous bine is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 2,338 feet (712.6 meters) and growing as high as 750 feet (228.6 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.
It takes 20 years for the turquoise stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 4.8 feet (1.5 meters) and are smooth and rubbery.
The needle-like, sticky leaves reach up to 10 inches (25 cm) in length. They are generally vibrant green, and have irregular edges.
