Yellow Moss

This yellow moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas On trees, and In damp forests.
It is short, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps are exceptionally hardy, and is overwhelmingly resilient.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release hundred of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
