Crimsongrass

This small, yellow-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The thick stalks grow in extensive patches that are flexible.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, crimson spikelet.

During the early winter, it produces an average amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of small grains.
