Amber Linenflower

This small flower grows up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. Its red stem is very thin and straight, and the miniature, orange-yellow leaves are pleated with tattered edges. The leaves alternate on the stem.

Around 70 small flowers grow in drooping bunches like grapes. The flowers are 2 cm (0.8 inches) wide, with petals that are amber on the edges and green at the center. The flower head is largely flat with handfuls of widely spaced narrow petals. They are hardy.

It has an overpowering scent that smells like fresh linen, and it has an average amount of pollen. It is a self-pollinator and is ignored by most insect species.
