Caramel Violet

Flower type: Biennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This small flower grows up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. Its green stem is very thin and splits into numerous branching stems three quarters of the way up, and the small, copper leaves are long, tapering with rounded edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.

Dozens of large flowers grow in a bunch at the end of the stem. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with solid violet petals decorated with caramel lines and a caramel central disk. The flower head is made up of 9 petals in raised layers. They detach easily.

It has an overpowering scent that smells like warm cookies, and it has copious amounts of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects , but only one species in particular.

It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
