Crimson Creeper

This small creeper is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 24 feet (7.3 meters)0. It prefers to grow on trees.

It takes 4 months for the pink-red stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are rough and woody.

The fan-like, leathery leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are solid purple with aquamarine dots, and have wavy edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces thousands of large blood red flowers, and during the early autumn, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of small fruits.
