Caramel Blossom Grass

This small, gentle red or hazel grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The long, narrow stalks grow in large clumps that are flimsy and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, caramel flower.

During the mid-summer, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of small grains.
