Caramel

Fruit Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small fruit tree grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall and lives for up to 25 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 40 years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a knobbly, crooked trunk covered in rough, yellow-brown bark, and inside, the very hard wood is white.

The small handful of branches are short and thin and are covered with large amounts of miniature, heart-shaped leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are found in caramel and blue varieties.

In early spring, it produces hundreds of small, gentle green blossoms with pleated petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They are hardy and have no scent.

In mid-autumn it produces , wide fruit. The hairy yellow skin is thin and inedible, and the slightly crunchy light brown flesh is sour and very dry. The bronze seed is very large and sits at the top of the fruit.

The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with grassy ground between them.

It is suitable for use as a construction material
