Coppervine

This massive vine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 2,084 feet (635.2 meters) and growing as high as 647 feet (197.2 meters).

It takes 27 years for the yellow stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 3.6 feet (1.1 meters) and are soft and flexible.

The very thick, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 3.3 feet (1.0 meters) in length. They are copper at the bottom and cream with red edges at the top, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces balls of tiny gentle green flowers.
