Brown Puffgrass

This large, brown grass grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. The 7 pointed stalks grow in small clumps that are sturdy and flexible.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, grey puff.

During the early summer, it produces very little pollen, but can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of small grains.
