Turquoise Creeper

This large creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 75 feet (22.9 meters) and growing as high as 71 feet (21.6 meters).

It takes 5 years for the slate and dark brown stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 8 inches (20 cm) and are thick and twisted.

The very narrow and elongated, crispy leaves reach up to 2.3 feet (69 cm) in length. They are purple and turquoise, and have serrated edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces several large blue flowers, and during the late summer, after flowering, it produces lots of small berries.
