Bluebell Moss

This deep blue moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In moorlands, and In marshes.
It is big, growing up to 9 inches (23 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they are exceptionally hardy, and is slightly light.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release hundred of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.

It makes a distinctive sound when the wind blows through it.
It is suitable for making strong rope
It can absorb up to 8 times its own weight in water.
