Coppergrass
Grass type: Biennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This short, burgundy grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The asymmetrical stalks grow in large clumps that are resilient and they are exceptionally hardy.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, copper spikelet.
During the mid-summer, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of large grains.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
