Bluestem Grass

This huge, blue grass grows up to 34 feet (10.4 meters) tall. The sickle shaped stalks grow in thin clumps that are durable and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, blood red tail.

During the early autumn, it produces lots of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.
