Crimson Fan Grass

This huge, orange grass grows up to 11 feet (3.4 meters) tall. The fan-like stalks grow in extensive patches that are flexible.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, crimson flower.

During the mid-summer, it produces an average amount of pollen; it can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of large grains.
