Emerald Clump Moss

This gray and intense green moss is commonly found growing in giant clumps In rainy mountain ranges, On trees, and On rotten logs.
It is enormous, growing up to 10 inches (25 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is slightly flexible.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release dozens of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
