Crimson Heath Moss

This red moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In heathlands, and In marshes.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps, and is slightly sturdy; it can easily endure being trodden on.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release dozens of spores.

It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if it falls or if its limbs are knocked off.
