Climbing Violetvine
Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This short vine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 15 feet (4.6 meters) and growing as high as 45 feet (13.7 meters).
It takes 3 months for the pink-red stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are thick and twisted.
The very thick, smooth leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are found in lime and caramel varieties, and have toothed edges.
During late spring, the vine produces many bunches of giant violet flowers.
