Crimson Cube Cactus

This colossal cactus grows up to 128 feet (39.0 meters) tall. It splits partway up the body to form 5 wide stems. Each stem is silver, and is covered in lots of rigid crimson spines. The cuboid body is lime green or dark grey, and is covered in lots of rigid crimson spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 15 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a handful of flowers, with petals that are either dark grey or brilliant orange, with a yellow center, grow at the top, reappearing after 10 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is shaped like a cube with 56 widely spaced, narrow petals. It has a soft scent that smells like faeces.

The cactus's skin is thin, the copper flesh is smooth, and the pink sap is thin and causes upset stomachs if consumed.
