Climbing Creeper Vine

Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This modest-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 48 feet (14.6 meters) and growing as high as 966 feet (294.4 meters).

It takes 23 months for the gray-green stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 2 inches (5 cm) and are rough and woody.

The thick, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 1.3 feet (41 cm) in length. They are red and aquamarine, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces balls of average caramel flowers.

It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
