Aqualeaf Grass
Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its leaves)This small, green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The thick stalks grow in small clumps that are robust and they spread and grow quickly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, cyan spikelet.
During the early winter, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of giant grains.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It can survive a very long time without water.
It makes a distinctive sound when the wind blows through it.
