Bloodvine

Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This short creeper is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 16 feet (4.9 meters) and growing as high as 42 feet (12.8 meters).

It takes 4 months for the yellow-green stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are hard and brittle.

The thick, sticky leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are solid yellow or lilac, with blood red patches, and have rounded edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces handfuls of small white flowers.

It can absorb up to 19 times its own weight in water.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
Several parts of the moss have medicinal properties.
