Golden Moss

This yellow moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In rainforests, On trees, and On rotten logs.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is overwhelmingly flimsy; it burns easily in strong sunlight.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release hundred of spores.
