Climbing Blueberry Vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This large vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 106 feet (32.3 meters) and growing as high as 55 feet (16.8 meters).

It takes 4 years for the muted green or black stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 6 inches (15 cm) and are smooth and woody.

The long, tapering, crispy leaves reach up to 2.3 feet (71 cm) in length. They are copper on the sides and grey at the center, and have serrated edges.

During late spring, the vine produces many bunches of large faded blue flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces lots of tiny berries.

It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
It is very resistant to fire damage.
