Emerald

This emerald moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In damp forests, and On trees.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they are exceptionally hardy, and is extremely flimsy.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release millions of spores.
