Burgundyvine

This short bine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 24 feet (7.3 meters) and growing as high as 119 feet (36.3 meters).

It takes 5 months for the burgundy stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are rough and fibrous.

The long, tapering, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are hazel on the sides and cream at the center, and have irregular edges.

During late spring, the bine produces thick bunches of average light brown flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces excessive amounts of very large seed pods.
