Olive Flower

Flower type: Biennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This modest-sized flower grows up to 1.8 feet (56 cm) tall. Its light grey stem is very thick and straight with a curved tip, and the small, orange-yellow leaves are sickle shaped with rounded edges. 10 leaves grow at the base of the stem.

A single giant flower sits at the end of the stem. The flowers are 24 cm (9.4 inches) wide, with petals that are generally olive; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour. The flower head is shaped like a tube with 16 raised, narrow petals. They detach easily.

It has a fairly strong scent that smells like soap, and it has an average amount of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is pollinated by a small species of bird.

It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
It coexists peacefully with other plants.
