Brownreed

Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in its leaves)

This average-sized, light brown grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The wispy stalks grow in thin clumps that are flexible.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, slate flower.

During the mid-summer, it produces a fair amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of large grains.

It is suitable for making baskets and the like
The stems are covered in large spikes.
It coexists peacefully with other plants.
