Blacktail Grass
Grass type: Annual (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This short, black grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The umbrella-shaped stalks grow in small clumps that are light and frail.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, red tail.
During the early autumn, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of giant grains.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
