Bluevine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This large vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 97 feet (29.6 meters) and growing as high as 148 feet (45.1 meters). It prefers to grow on specific trees.

It takes 3 years for the silver stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 9 inches (23 cm) and are smooth and woody.

The cylindrical, crispy leaves reach up to 1.3 feet (41 cm) in length. They are sky blue and crimson, and have smooth edges.

It is suitable for use as a construction material
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
It can survive a very long time without water.
The bark, wood and leaves are edible.
