Copper Moss

This copper moss is commonly found growing in giant clumps On trees, In moorlands, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps, and is extremely flimsy.
When mature, emerald shield-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release millions of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
