Lime Green Succulent

This short caudiciform grows up to 9 feet (2.7 meters) tall. The asymmetrical stem is lime green, and is dotted with small brown spines. The bulbous, vibrant green trunk can grow to as much as 9 feet (2.7 meters) in diameter. Its blood red branches are very short and thin.

The smooth-edged, spear shaped leaves are light grey at the bottom and azure with orange edges at the top. They are sturdy, and easily come away when pulled.

It is fast growing, taking 8 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with solid olive petals decorated with orange dots and a magenta central disk grow at the top, reappearing once every 2 years. The flower head is made up of handfuls of petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight sphere. It has a mildly strong scent that smells like rotting meat.

The caudiciform's skin is very thick, the grey flesh is leathery, and the lime sap is thin.
