Coppervine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This big vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 373 feet (113.7 meters) and growing as high as 70 feet (21.3 meters).

It takes 4 years for the light brown stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 1.1 feet (33 cm) and are hard and brittle.

The finger-like, leathery leaves reach up to 2.5 feet (76 cm) in length. They are copper and blue, and have tattered edges.

During late spring, the vine produces a thick sheet of small peach flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of very large seed pods.
