Copper vine

This massive vine is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 1,564 feet (476.7 meters) and growing as high as 674 feet (205.4 meters).

It takes 42 years for the gray stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 1.6 feet (48 cm) and are soft and flexible.

The needle-like, clammy leaves reach up to 1.1 feet (33 cm) in length. They are copper and blue, and have irregular edges.

During late spring, the vine produces thousands of large cream flowers, and during the early autumn, after flowering, it produces excessive amounts of tiny fruits.
