Copper

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This big bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 305 feet (93.0 meters) and growing as high as 18 feet (5.5 meters).

It takes 5 years for the copper stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 7 inches (18 cm) and are hard and brittle.

The spear shaped, fuzzy leaves reach up to 9 inches (23 cm) in length. They are found in hazel, azure and black varieties, and have serrated edges.

During late spring, the bine produces many large yellow flowers, and during the late summer, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of tiny berries.
