Bluevine

Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This modest-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 46 feet (14.0 meters) and growing as high as 101 feet (30.8 meters). It prefers to grow on specific trees.

It takes 5 years for the orange stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are smooth and woody.

The stiff, pointed, soft leaves reach up to 1.4 feet (43 cm) in length. They are solid blue or amber, with violet lines, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces large amounts of average azure flowers.

It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if it falls or if its limbs are knocked off.
