Coppergrass

Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This large, copper grass grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. The thin stalks grow in small clumps that are rigid and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, cyan flower.

During the mid-autumn, it produces an average amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of tiny grains.

It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
It can absorb up to 9 times its own weight in water.
It is excellent at collecting and storing carbon dioxide
