Caramel

Succulent type: Caudiciform (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This average-sized caudiciform grows up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall. The asymmetrical stem is caramel, and is dotted with small light brown spines. The slanted, pale red trunk can grow to as much as 4 feet (1.2 meters) in diameter in the middle. Its brown branches trail down towards the ground and start growing a quarter of the way up the stem.

The large amounts of wavy-edged, slender, pointed leaves are a shade of pink-red that gradient shifts to sky blue at the top. They are robust, and take some effort to detach.

It is very fast growing, taking 4 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with peach petals on the lower layer and bronze petals decorated with beige dots on the inner layer. The central disk is grey grows at the top, reappearing after 2 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 56 petals. It has a mildly strong scent that smells like rich perfume.

The caudiciform's skin is thin, the copper flesh is slimy, and the crimson sap is thin.

It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
It is overwhelmingly resistant to fire damage.
