Coppergrass

Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its stem)

This average-sized, copper grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The pleated stalks grow in sparse patches that are flexible and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, pale red tuft.

During the mid-summer, it produces copious amounts of pollen, but it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of large grains.

It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
