Bronzegrass

Grass type: Biennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This modest-sized, green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The sickle shaped stalks grow in small clumps that are delicate.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, bronze tuft.

During the early summer, it produces a modest amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a few giant grains.

It is difficult to cut through.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
