Burgundy Tailgrass
Grass type: Annual (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This modest-sized, burgundy grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The wispy stalks grow in sparse patches that are strong and they are slow to spread and grow.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, brown tail.
During the early winter, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of small grains.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It has impressive regenerative properties.
