Browngrass

Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its leaves)

This enormous, brown grass grows up to 10 feet (3.0 meters) tall. The thin stalks grow in large clumps that are robust.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, orange spikelet.

During the late summer, it produces an average amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of small grains.

It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
