Emerald

This moss green moss is commonly found growing in large clumps On trees, In heathlands, and In marshes.
It is huge, growing up to 1.1 feet (33 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is very sturdy; it can easily endure being trodden on.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release millions of spores.
