Bloodvine

Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This average-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 47 feet (14.3 meters) and growing as high as 30 feet (9.1 meters).

It takes 2 years for the burgundy stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 5 inches (13 cm) and are rough and fibrous.

The long, tapering, rough leaves reach up to 1.6 feet (48 cm) in length. They are found in green and blood red varieties, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces thick bunches of small black flowers.
