Crimson Vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This huge vine is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 2,351 feet (716.6 meters) and growing as high as 506 feet (154.2 meters).

It takes 29 years for the yellow-green stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 1.4 feet (43 cm) and are hard and brittle.

The finger-like, waxy leaves reach up to 3.3 feet (99 cm) in length. They are purple and crimson, and have tattered edges.

It grows well in the sun and full shade.
It is very rare outside of a particular area.
